British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry’s pampered life in Montecito, California is spent riding his bike (alone), walking his dog on the beach (alone), and meditating (alone).
Unless you count the large security presence he thinks he needs, it’s curious that unemployed Harry seems to be all by his lonesome as he wiles away the hours day after day.
Is this what he had in mind on his 2020 “freedom flight” away from his respectable life as a royal? Here’s what to know about Harry’s allegedly lonely life four years on from Megxit.
Harry Is A Man-Child
Harry turns 40 on September 15. According to the Daily Mail, at home he “spends much of his time at his desk with his wife working next to him, plotting together which country they will visit next or on video calls with their team or charities” or with his “personal trainer.” Where are his kids and who’s taking care of them? That’s a great question.
Harry’s neighbors told The Daily Telegraph that he’s like a red-headed Yeti, with sightings rarer than Loch Ness Monster pictures.
One said of the mythical Markles: “They keep themselves to themselves. I haven’t seen Harry around much. Normally when you see him around here, he’s walking his Labrador on the beach or on his bicycle followed by his security in a Range Rover.”
Because that’s such a eco-friendly move. But if it makes Harry happy to think he’s popular and cared-about in America.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry’s Distorted Thoughts
In fact, Harry’s security team is one of the “biggest” in the area. The Daily Mail reports that “There are mixed reports about his happiness. One ally recently said Harry is ‘doing great’ – but others claim he has become an ‘angry boy’ who is ‘more and more isolated in California.’” Two things can be true?
And what about Harry’s first wife, Meghan Markle? Believe it or not the Nigerian Princess may have “joined a local mahjong group, stops to speak to locals in the street or shops and has bonded with other celeb-locals including Ellen DeGeneres, who shares a love of chickens with the former Suits star.” Yep, Ellen.

How The Markles Spend Their Freedom
Speaking of cancelled Ellen, the Markles frequent Italian restaurant Tre Lune where a pizza is $24, spaghetti and meatballs is $35, plus they have an “Ellen Salad.” Tres magnifique.
Journalist Richard Mineards told the Telegraph that he is a mere “tiara’s toss” from the Markle McMansion: ”The community is waiting for them – they’re gnashing at the bit. The cachet of a Duke and Duchess. It’s a very wealthy community, we have a lot of people giving a lot of money to our cultural organisations as well as charities, but we don’t see them.”
He added “We have got a lot of very rich and very famous people here, and none of them have a security retinue like the Sussexes.”
Tell us royal fans, what do you think about Harry and Meghan’s post-royal life? Do they really need the biggest security team in town, and what do they do all day in the luxurious home with a stripper pole?

Gmom Doria, I believe lives there now. I personally think Harry is very unhappy. Going from world spotlight acclaim to houseboy is hard to swallow & accept.
After growing up under the spotlight I would think Harry would relish being alone. I think the “press” is annoyed that the couple are not out and about in daily life so they cannot “get anything on them.” Must be incredibly frustrating for the gossip rags, so much so they have to make shit up.
