Before dumping the royal family for a life of entertainment in California, royal photographer Arthur Edwards believes he was a “somebody” in Britain.
However, since his exit, Harry has failed to properly permeate the American market, and while his memoir was a success, most of its success is often attributed to the royal gossips he shared in it rather than any particular interest in his accomplishments.
Prince Harry “Thinks He’s Bigger Than He Actually Is”
Prince Harry is trying his best to brand himself as both a celebrity, through the entertainment arm of his brand Archewell Productions, and a public figure, via his charities and summit speeches.
In reality, photographer Arthur Edwards believes he’s “just another celebrity in a town full of celebrities.”
Mr Edwards said on The Sun’s royal show: “I think he thinks he’s bigger than he actually is. I also think Meghan [Markle] doesn’t want to come here anymore, He comes back but she never comes with him. What really upsets the King is the fact that he’s never going to see his grandchildren [Archie and Lilibet].”
He also opined that Archie and Lilibet should be getting to know and playing with their cousins, “Instead of that, they’re stuck in their house in Montecito and they’re just celebrities in a town full of celebrities.”
“Here, he was somebody and there, just another celebrity, in my view. He’s the loser, big time.”
What Prince Harry Must Do To Be Welcomed Back Into the Royal Fold
Also speaking on the show was the late Queen’s former police officer, Dick Griffin, who said: “This morning, I read that before he went [to America] he was the most popular royal and now, he’s gone right down, almost at the bottom of the list.”

Late last month, rumors started swirling that Harry is planning to make a royal comeback.
Weighing in on these rumors, Edwards said, “He’s going to have to make a big, big, big act of contrition in my view, to the King, before he gets back because, quite frankly, they’re frightened to have him with them because any conversation they have could be in the next TV programme they make.”
However, even if he makes a swift change from his newfound affinity for the media, Edwards still believes a comeback would be particularly hard to engineer.
“They’re not prepared to do that anymore. I always believe in the parable of the Prodigal Son – everything’s possible – but at the moment it doesn’t look likely.”
