Chrisley Knows’s Best alum Savannah Chrisley has been hosting a Friends’ Round Table on her Unlocked podcast and this week, she got upset with critics who claim she lives off “stolen” money. In fact, she claims that she knows exactly how it feels to worry about bills that need to be paid each month. Read on to find out more.
Savannah Chrisley Talks About Struggling Financially
Todd Chrisley boasted on Chrisley Knows Best that sometimes, the family would spend up to 300K on clothing. Well, after his conviction for fraud and tax-related offenses, that came to an end. For a start, he and his wife Julie need to pay back a lot of restitution money. For their daughter, hard times also arrived. In fact, she had no TV work for a year.
Savannah Chrisley did turn up on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, but her regular income from Chrisley Knows Best fell away. Growing Up Chrisley also ended, and she was left with two minor kids to raise and a bunch of mortgages. So, times were much harder for her than before.
Chrisley Knows Best Star Vents About ‘Stolen’ Money
Recently, Chrisley Knows Best fans saw that Todd’s daughter sat down with friends and chatted about her parents in prison and other problems. It seems that Tyler, Holly, Pamela, and Erin, are a great support base for her. It was Erin who mentioned financial hardship, and that got Todd’s daughter venting about social media critics.
Savannah Chrisley started talking about financial hardship at the 12:45 marker in the video below. In part, the reality TV star said:
People comment on my social media…and say like ‘I feel so sorry for you like living off of mom and daddy’s stolen money”…Like ‘you’re rich, it’s easy.” So, I’m like ‘dude you have no idea how this all played out.” I struggle. I know what it feel like to not know how you are going toi pay your bills that month.
She continued by saying that she was “canceled for a full year” on reality TV. Plus, she had Grayson and Chloe to think of and educate. Then, Erin said that things were bad because Savannah Chrisley had to rely on “real estate” and her “podcast” for income. Notably, real estate was not doing very well at the time.
