Hallmark Mystery has announced the new comedy and mystery movie, The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening.

According to the official synopsis, a true crime podcast turns to murder for the Cases as Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell return as married private investigators.

As Birdie Case (Garcia) and Alden Case (Campbell) continue their quest to become private investigators, their newest case proves to really put them to the test. This comes as a popular true crime podcaster, Laurel St. James, is murdered in the recording studio moments before she is to reveal the true identity of an infamous serial killer.

It is up to Birdie and Alden to listen to the clues to solve this suspicious murder. However, as the Cases delve deeper into the case, personal details are discovered that could alter their own lives forever.

Playing the role of Birdie Case, Aimee Garcia has previously been seen with Paul Campbell in The Cases of Mystery Lane and she has starred in Dexter. Paul Campbell, who plays Alden Case, also starred in Battlestar Galactica and Three Wise Men and a Baby.

Meanwhile, Peter Benson stars in the role of Pat, and is known for Guiding Emily and Big Sky River: The Bridal Past. Adrian Hough stars as Nigel Plumby and has previously been seen in Home Before Dark and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
