Jennie Garth Claims This Reason Was Why She Did ‘90210’ Reboot

Jennie Garth Claims This Reason Was Why She Did '90210' RebootJennie Garth is finally opening up about how not being able to say ‘no’ made her appear on a show she regrets.

However, Garth wasn’t the only one who bottled up her personal feelings about the show to please some people. Here’s every hot tea that was spilled during the reunion.

The thing is, we’re in the era of reboots and sequels, remakes and revivals – if the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ can get rebooted, everything can. Some reboots have worked, some have failed, and others have been mildly successful.

Just because something was beloved by fans at one point, does that mean we need it for a new generation? Now there’s a HBO ‘Harry Potter’ series in the works, and it better be worth my time.

Speaking of something being worth somebody’s time, starring in ‘CW’s 90210’ reboot was definitely not worth Jennie Garth’s time.

What the Cast of ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ Thought About the Show’s Reboot

The actress opened up about her true feeling towards the reboot when she and fellow co-stars –Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris and Ian Ziering – reunited on Sept. 14 for 90s Con 2024.

“I wish I hadn’t done it. No offense to them,” Garth, 52, said of the reboot, which lasted from 2008 to 2013. “The producer was a friend of a friend, and I remember he came over in my living room, sat me down, [billed it as] this chance of a lifetime. He asked me to do it and I didn’t know how to say no then. But the people were very nice and all the best to them.”

Carteris added: “I never wanted to [do it]. I was so shocked they were doing a new show. I was like, is it like, they long so much you’re just going to try to reinvent it over and over?”

And while Green admitted to loving the show’s concept which provided viewers with an indepth look at the lives of wealthy kids at West Beverly Hills High School, he did say that it’s “done.” Green noted, “No offense at all, it’s to me, we did 10 years of that show and it’s like okay, done.”
