On Tuesday, Vance specifically pointed to outrage over Springfield, Ohio after it was revealed that all the “bomb threats” came from overseas.

“The American media for three days has been lying and saying that Donald Trump and I are inciting bomb threats.”

“When in reality the American media has been laundering foreign disinformation. It is disgusting. And every single one of them owes the residents of Springfield an apology.”

Vance then continued, “That is so sick from the American press in 2024. Instead of talking about the crises in our country, they try to silence the people who are experiencing them. What they’re doing is trying to shut all of us up.”

What’s Next For The Trump Campaign?

Social media sure did have a lot to say about Vance’s comments. Some critics said, “Democrats are continuing to promote the bomb threat hoax even though the Ohio governor came out yesterday saying it was a hoax. Kamala Harris herself just regurgitated the lie. She’s shameless.”

Another critic wrote, “The MSM defaults to blaming Trump or Republicans in general when something happens, they do not even bother to do any research it seems.”

“Then when it comes out that it was something else, as in this case the damage and slander have already taken their toll.”

And then there was this comment as well: “People underestimated JD when Trump first picked him. He’s showing us exactly why he was chosen by tearing the media apart— keep it coming Vance.”
