Netflix Teases Behind-the-scenes From ‘Wednesday’ Season 2

“Hello, my little storm cloud,” is the first lines we hear in the short teaser and it is spoken by Luis Guzmán in the voice of Wednesday’s father Gomez.

Netflix Releases Upcoming 'Wednesday' Season 2 Teaser Worthy To Make Our Eyes Bleed

Okay, a little recap, we said goodbye to season one with a ridiculously troubling cliffhanger, where we see Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday drive past Hunter Doohan’s Tyler and he transforms into a monster. As if that wasn’t enough, Wednesday gets a creepy text from a stalker.

Two years later, fans are still anxious to get to the second season, where hopefully the pieces of the puzzle will finally be put together. Who else totally called Wednesday’s love interest Tyler being the monster hyde, cause I did. Okay, sorry, went into full fangirl mode right there.

In the teaser, we’re shown glimpses of Wednesday and Emma Myers’ Enid Sinclair’s dorm in Nevermore, a new fancy room probably dedicated to the new Principal, who will take over from Weems following her tragic death towards the end of season one, and the monster statue standing on the school’s courtyard.

“Let’s Play Dolls,” Wednesday Says.

“Welcome to the set of season 2 of Wednesday,” Emma Myers, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Joy Sunday take turns announcing. The sequel further promises to be “bigger and more twisted than you could ever imagine.”

This is then followed by a series of scenes, including ones where Nevermore students are performing some kind of rite. Wednesday, in true mother of goth fashion, then says, “if we showed you anymore your eyes would bleed.” Dramatic pause: “And I’m not that generous.”

The second season has already managed to add Joanna Lumley as Wednesday’s paternal Grandmama and Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn. There are also some exciting new additions like Heather Mataraxzo and Frances O’Connor, though their roles are currently under wraps.

Our psychic/detective Wednesday seems to be in a worse mood this season 2, so we can safely assume that no hell can stop her from getting her way, even if it means unleashing her own version of hell. She has a type, truly.
