The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, September 23, 2024, is finally here! In today’s episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) asks Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) to keep a secret.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Taylor Hayes Explains

B&B recap for Monday, September 23 reveals that Taylor tells Li she ignored her symptoms for a while. Taylor thought she was just getting older when she was fatigued and short of breath.

That’s when the doctor told Taylor she had heart failure. Taylor tells a stunned Li that she’s dying.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wants Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to convince Taylor to stay in town. Steffy thinks Ridge would be the person to get through to Taylor. 

B&B Recap – Donna Logan’s Guilt

Donna feels guilty about Luna. Donna introduced Luna to everyone at Forrester Creations. Brooke and Eric Forrester (John McCook) remind Donna that Luna had fooled everyone, even RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman).

They all talk about how lucky Steffy is to be alive, and how John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) saved her.

Meanwhile, Brooke recalls her chat with Taylor about Finn and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Brooke’s memory is interrupted by Donna. Brooke tells Donna and Eric about possibly becoming friends with Taylor. 

Steffy thinks Ridge can convince Taylor to stick around. Steffy says that Taylor values Ridge’s opinion. Ridge finally agrees.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Li Finnegan’s Moral Dilemma

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, September 23 reveals Li asks about Taylor’s cardiologist. Taylor doesn’t have one. Li is confused. Taylor says the minute she got the diagnosis, she just wanted to be with her family.

Li offers to run some tests and to get her cardiologist specialist referrals. Taylor thanks Li and says time is running out. 

Brooke tells Eric and Donna that something seems different or changed about Taylor. Brooke admits she’s different now, too. Brooke is now confident of her place in Ridge’s heart. 

Taylor continues talking to Ridge about needing her mom despite being a grown woman with children of her own. Steffy says at the end of the day, a girl needs her mama. 

Li texts Taylor a list of cardiologist specialists that she trusts. Taylor confirms she got it. Li wants to know which doctor Taylor picks, and she will make sure she gets an appointment ASAP.

Li asks about Taylor’s shortness of breath. Taylor says it’s getting worse and harder to hide. Li is confused about hiding.

Taylor only wants her family to see her strong and healthy. Li recalls the last time she saw Taylor, she didn’t see any signs of a health issue.

Li also tells Taylor that she doesn’t understand the point of hiding her condition. Li urges Taylor to tell her family the truth, they will want to support her through this. Taylor says no and orders Li to secrecy. 

B&B Recap – Monday, September 23, 2024

Brooke is optimistic about the friendship with Taylor. Brooke says they have a lot in common. Eric’s reaction prompts Brooke to clarify they have more in common than just Ridge.

Eric hopes Taylor does stay in town after everything Steffy’s been through lately. Donna agrees and Brooke smiles.

Ridge says he misses Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) every day. Ridge understands how Steffy feels about Taylor. Steffy worries about losing more time with Taylor.

Taylor doesn’t want to scare her family. Li says Taylor will need their support. Taylor is standing firm. Li tries to gently push Taylor to tell the truth. Taylor won’t and begs Li to keep quiet.

Li reluctantly agrees, but tells Taylor that she needs to be honest with her family. Li suggests that Taylor just keep an open mind. \As the condition progresses, Taylor might view things differently. Taylor has to face death, but she wants to do it with as much strength and grace she can muster.

BRIDGE smooch. Ridge tells Brooke that Steffy stopped by. Brooke assumes it was to cancel Hope’s line. Ridge says it was actually about Taylor.

That’s when Brooke brings up her chat with Taylor earlier. Brooke is excited as she gushes to Ridge about the possibility of being friends with Taylor. Ridge doesn’t want Steffy to lose her mother again.

Taylor stares at family photos at the cliffhouse. Taylor gets emotional as tears start to stream down her face. Steffy interrupts as Taylor quickly wipes away tears. Steffy wants to know what’s wrong.
