General Hospital spoilers and rumors pose a serious question-is Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) working with someone else to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down for good?

Sonny got Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to track Martin down to hire him to represent Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but Martin’s double crossing him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Would Martin Grey Tell Alexis Davis To Prove The Murderer Is The Man Who Hired Him?

During Martin’s visit to Alexis in Pentonville, he told her the only way to exonerate herself would be to prove the real murderer of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

He told her that the real murderer she had to prove murdered Cates is the man paying his bill-which would be Sonny, but yet he took the case.

It would seem it would be a great big conflict of interest for Martin to take Sonny’s money and tell Alexis to prove Sonny is the real murderer.

Might Martin be secretly working with someone else to take down Sonny for good? Perhaps Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out of Cassadine family loyalty-sometimes it exists!

GH Spoilers – Who Else Might Martin Grey Be Working With?

Valentin has been on the run himself, but there are several good reasons he might be working with Martin to take Sonny down besides loyalty to his cousin Alexis.

For one thing, he doesn’t want to be exposed to Sonny as the one who ordered his bipolar meds be made placebos-there are a couple of people who know this.

However, it might be an acceptable tradeoff if the mob don is taken off the streets for good-the pharmacist he paid off is in hiding along with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). But there is one other possibility for a person that Martin might be working with, and it’s not Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)!

He might be working with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and bringing Sonny down might be the contingency for Jack to remain free and the local head of the WSB office.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Knows Jack Brennan’s Hiding Something

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knows Jack’s hiding something and she’s been calling him on it-why else would he hone in on Sonny’s ex-wife other than being smitten? The thing he might be hiding (other than Valentin) is his bringing Sonny to justice in a way the FBI was not able to.

So, Martin’s defense of Alexis hinging on her helping him prove Sonny killed Cates makes sense if he’s working with someone else.

The only other that could exonerate or at least introduce reasonable doubt that Alexis or Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) didn’t kill Cates would be to find the gun.

The one Alexis threw in the river won’t match the bullets taken from Cates’ body, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) melted down the real one!
