The ‘Karate Kid’ star recently took to social media on his dad’s 56th birthday to tease important news.

“2024: A Case Study Of The Long Term Effects Of Young Love. October 18,” he captioned a clip of someone putting up a poster with the title inside a light booth. Of course fans were quick to wonder whether this meant that he would be releasing an album soon. And it’s about time too, as he hasn’t released a full-length project in four years, since the 2020 record ‘CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3.’

In June, he released the single ‘Roses,’ marking his return to music in three years since 2021’s “Bye.”

Willow showed support for her brother by dropping a like for the post.

As for fans, if it isn’t news about an album, they don’t want to hear it. “WE GETTING NEW JADEN IN THE BIG 2024,” one fan wrote, while another gushed, “IS THIS THE ALBUM IVE BEEN WAITING ON!?”

What Jaden Smith Has Said About Upcoming Music

At this moment, it’s not clear whether Jaden plans to release a series of singles or even an EP, even though fans are already assuming it’s an album.

In a latest interview with High Snobiety, Jaden was asked to shed light on his upcoming album, to which he played coy by replying, “What album?”

“I’m just trying to continue the story,” he said of the upcoming project, adding, “That’s really what it comes down to.”

“This is a case study of the long-term effects of young love. And I’ve been doing my own self-reflecting on everything I’ve gone through in my life. And now, I’m ready to start revealing what I figured out.”
