The King of England has made it pretty clear to his son, the Duke of Sussex, that he wants to see his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, before it’s too late.
It’s obvious that King Charles won’t be traveling to California anytime soon and that’s why he wants Harry to bring his family to see him in the United Kingdom.
But there’s one person who is stopping this reunion from happening and it’s Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. And it’s all because she’s worried about her family’s security.
Right now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t have any guaranteed royal protection for when they visit the UK and that’s why Meghan doesn’t want to take the chance of visiting with her children. She knows that if something happens, she’ll never forgive herself for it.
She’s already made it clear on several occasions that she doesn’t want to ever return to the UK, let alone step on British soil. And if she doesn’t travel back to London, then there’s on way that she’s going to allow her kids Archie and Lilibet to go without her.
Royal Family News – What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
For King Charles, this is absolutely devastating. He desperately wants to see his grandchildren but of course it’s not going to happen if Meghan Markle blocks it from happening.
Then again, one source close to the situation put it this way, “Harry will be seeking an audience with the King. He’s worried about his health and misses him, but Harry’s ultimate goal is to get his security detail back.”
“This will then give Meghan no objections to bringing Archie and Lili to London some day.” So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.

I can understand why Megan Markle is reluctant to visit the UK without a security detail!!! She was constantly lambasted in the British press and even called trailer trash!!! Some trailer trash! She earned $10,000 per episode when she starred in “Suits” so she was well off before she met Harry!!! If King Charles wants to see his grandkids so badly he should provide a security detail!!!
I think it’s dreadful that the King has not seen Prince Harrys 2 children & I blame Maghan for alot of this mess. Can’t the King at least get security for Harry & the kids long enough to visit him. That way Maghan can’t complain. I am praying for healing to begin. William needs to get rid of his heart of stone.
Harry should just take his children without the permission of Meghan,regardless of what happens or what she thinks. Nothing will happen to the children in the UK. Just don’t bother getting paid security team members for yourselves, Harry and Meghan. You dropped that when you left the UK for the USA- use American security team members. Never tell their mother Meghan if they go missing, it’s not Harry who’s to blame for this big mess, that’s all down to Meghan: she comes from a very broken and messed up family background, she snubbed and ostracised her own father and half siblings in order to be close to her mother.
