While there’s no doubt that no family is perfect, the royal family has certainly dealt with their fair share of controversies from the past that almost always ended up in the headlines.

But for Kate Middleton’s family, it wasn’t until she began dating Prince William that the public began to pay attention to them. And while the tabloid media did try to dig into her family’s past, it was nothing compared to that of the royals.

That might be one of the many reasons why Prince William always felt so close to Kate’s mother and father, Carole and Michael Middleton. Because they provided him with a little bit of normalcy that he didn’t have while he was growing up with the royals.

And for that, the Prince of Wales is eternally grateful because if it weren’t for Kate Middleton and her family, who knows where he would be today.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “I think that Kate has helped save William. I think it was very difficult for him coming out of a dysfunctional family, losing his mum so young and I think he was in a very difficult place.”

Royal Family News – It’s Kate Middleton’s Job To Make Prince William Happy

“Her whole life is to make him happy, I think. She found things that really make him feel important and worthy rather than just going to cut ribbons.”

“I think she has helped him to be a husband by introducing him to her own family a lot and spending time with a normal family and being a dad.”
