Hallmark+ Finding Mr. Christmas Cast And Premiere Date Announced

Hallmark+ has released the premiere date and the 10 competitors for the new reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas.

Starring Jonathan Bennett with Melissa Peterman as the lead judge, Finding Mr. Christmas is a reality show where 10 men compete to be the next Hallmark Hunk. The winning man will get to star with Jessica Lowndes in a new Hallmark Christmas movie.

The competitors need to show they have what it takes, as it isn’t just about looks. Moreover, they need to be able to dance, work with dogs, be able to cut down a Christmas tree, make holiday movies, and more.

After waiting for almost three months, Hallmark+ has finally revealed the cast of Finding Mr. Christmas. The details were shared on Thursday by Entertainment Weekly, and their photos can be seen in this Instagram post.

The men come from many and varied walks of life, with experiences that are not necessarily performance-based and are all handsome. These are details of the 10 contestants:

  • Blake Kelley, 36: A competitive small-town sales manager from Beaumont, Texas.
  • David Habashy, 29: Born in Egypt, this aerospace engineer lives in Vancouver and was an MMA fighter.
  • Daxton Bloomquist, 36: This LA-based LGBTQ+ actor has acted in more than 1,000 shows of The Book Of Mormon on Broadway.
  • Elijah Malcomb, 31: From New Jersey, this delivery driver/actor is the grandson of 5th Dimension singer Ron Townson who toured Hamilton.
  • Ezra Moreland, 31: This former Navy rescue diver is based out of San Diego and loves playing chess and his favorite food is oatmeal.
  • Gage Robinson, 29: A marketing consultant based out of LA, who was previously a manny and swim coach.
  • Hayden Maher, 30: Originally from Australia, now in LA, this children’s entertainer volunteers at an animal shelter.
  • Isaac Ramirez, 28: A firefighter out of Santa Clarita, California, Isaac plays a variety of instruments including the piano, guitar and cello.
  • Jonathan Wells, 27: This Chicago-based entrepreneur competed in track and field for the USA Olympic Trials.
  • Peter Gregory, 39: This League City, Texas model loves superheroes and participates in Ironman races and competitions for charities.

The Finding Mr. Christmas winner will star with Jessica Lowndes in the new, original movie, Happy Hawlidays. In the meantime, filming is complete, but the identity of the winning man has been kept under cover.

According to TV Insider, the plot of the movie is as follows:

Mia (Lowndes), a meticulous webpage editor for the Seattle Tourism Board, finds herself unexpectedly navigating the holidays alone. As the only one working, she’s drawn into an unusual encounter when she encounters a stray dog. Unsure how to handle the situation, she crosses paths with Max (Finding Mr. Christmas winner), a dog shelter owner.

Mia agrees to let Max’s ailing dog find solace with her newfound companion, in exchange for Max showing her the hidden gems of Seattle. Through their journey together, they both step out of their comfort zones, discovering new perspectives and forming a meaningful connection.

When does Finding Mr. Christmas premiere on Hallmark+?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the first two episodes of Finding Mr. Christmas will premiere on Hallmark+ on Thursday, October 31. From then onwards, a new episode will be released every Thursday. A first look of Finding Mr. Christmas is included here:
