Sean Diddy Combs, AKA P Diddy was arrested in New York for allegations of crimes like sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, and when he appeared in court this week, he looked very happy. So, viewers thought something was off and they begged the court not to ever allow him bail.
Celebs Backtrack On P Diddy Relationships
The rapper was sued by Cassi, his girlfriend, and her allegations of sexual assault seemed to kickstart the FBI’s investigation into trafficking and more. Many celebrities backpedal on their former relationship with him, but some of them call him out.
Wendy Williams told the Daily Mail that she felt it was long overdue that P Diddy should pay for his alleged crimes. Fortunately for him, she is not likely to be called as a witness given her frontotemporal dementia and aphasia diagnosis.
Rapper Looks Happy At Court Appearance
On Thursday, his family was at the court when he appeared for a status conference hearing. His family was there, and he looked very happy to see them, smiling, and looking relaxed. His mom has always claimed that her son is innocent, and certainly, he looked like he had not a care in the world.
P Diddy appeared at the court presided over by Judge Arun Subramanian. Actually, many people were furious at his appointment. The news that arrived via Hollywood Unlocked made a lot of people angry because the new judge seemed to be a rookie. Notably, Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr had denied him bail twice.
No Bail Until His Court Date in May?
The good thing about the court appearance is that the rapper probably won’t get bail until the court date for his trial in May, 2025. But, there is a pending appeal for bail, so that could change. Critics who discussed it on Reddit felt angry that bail was even being considered.

In the comments section, many people seemed to agree that the wealthy rapper would probably flee the country at the first opportunity. Here are some of their reactions:
- He’ll probably flee the country if he’s out on bail.
- Dude doesn’t need a passport. He has a number of private planes and complacent pilots at his disposal.
- I think he called himself a “bad boy for life.” Well, go be a bad boy in federal prison, for life.
- The moment he gets out he’s gone. I guarantee he’s got a way out of the country to a non-extradition location.
- What kind of idiot would actually release him from prison and expect he’d stick around?
