General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Changes His Mind About Being Cody’s Benefactor — But Will It Change How Sasha Feels About Her Ex?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was taken aback when Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) put him on the spot and asked him for the money for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to make a down payment on Serenity — the ranch where he grew up. Michael was cordial enough to hear Sasha out, but as soon as he heard the pitch was for Cody’s benefit and not Sasha’s, he gracefully bowed out.

Making sure Sasha knew she didn’t make him the slightest bit uncomfortable, he declined to help because he doesn’t know Cody nearly as well as he knows and cares for Sasha. But when Michael decides to come back around, will Sasha’ gratitude runneth over into the realms of feeling more for her ex than she should?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Reconsiders

It’s hard to say what might lead Michael to reconsider his refusal to support Cody’s dream. Maybe he’s just feeling incredibly generous right now. Maybe he’s on cloud nine in his marriage, but Sasha knows a little bit more about his marriage than he does right now.

How could that weigh into things? If Sasha tells him what she knows about Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) betrayal with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), will he feel more inclined to indulge her request? Maybe it won’t come to that.

He could find out how cruel Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) has been to Sasha — even about her approaching him for money — and decide to make it up to her by softening that blow and contradicting Tracy’s claims that she’s not a friend to the family.

Of course, Sasha is about to get some pretty life-changing news, too. Maybe that’ll be enough to push Michael to want to lift her spirits.

GH Spoilers – Hint This Was About Cody Bell

We can’t forget that this business venture was and is all about Cody, but Sasha may soon come to lose sight of that. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) certainly wasn’t supposed to show up and wreck the good thing Sasha has going, even though she thinks she’s just helping.

Michael’s offer to help could go a long way to assisting Sasha in keeping Holly out of her life. The more that Michael helps Sasha though, the more she may start falling for her ex all over again. Wasn’t this supposed to be about helping Cody?

General Hospital Spoilers — Change Is Coming

It sounds like trouble is on the horizon for Cody and Sasha. This happy couple has been through the wringer the last few weeks, and much of it has come from Tracy sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong. Few fans can say they understand this dynamic right now.

Tracy is considerably older than Cody, but she seems to be lashing out at Sasha as though she’s jealous of her relationship with him. Will she tire of this fight and feel diminished enough to walk away from Cody and backpedal toward the ex she used to love whose wife isn’t loving him right?
