General Hospital Spoilers: Michael And Sasha — Former Lovers…And Cousins?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) were a couple once upon a time.

Their friendship since then has gone through some trials and tribulations, but they made it through the strain and have come out the other side stronger than ever. Now, Sasha is going to be reeling for some time over the news that the man she loves — Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) — is her cousin, and it may be Michael who helps her through her heartache over this situation.

Will this bring her and Michael even closer — potentially at a time when Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is expected to destroy her marriage via an affair with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)? Should Sasha and Michael end up rekindling their romance, it could blow up twice as bad for Sasha when she finally learns Cody was never her cousin…but Michael is.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Past Is In The Past

Michael has been keen on giving Sasha a pass ever since he found out she didn’t really cheat on him with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and instead plotted to let him out of their relationship the only way she knew how.

She did this all so he could be with Willow for the sake of showing the court he had a stable family in place to raise Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in — way back when he was fighting the late Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) for custody of him.

Since then, Sasha has been married and lost her husband and child. Her grief pulled her into addiction, and Michael has been there to support her through it all.

This time around as she deals with the effects of her mother’s bad news, it’ll be no different. Michael will be in her corner, and they may end up bonding in a whole new way.

GH Spoilers – Squeal Sasha Gilmore Corbin And Michael Corinthos Lean On Each Other

Sasha and Michael stand to get a whole lot closer in the weeks and months ahead. Drew’s feelings for Willow — and vice versa — are almost guaranteed to come to light, possibly sometime close to the election, which is soon.

If Michael is left jilted and Sasha helps him pick up the pieces of his broken heart, they may lean on each other in ways they didn’t predict. Back in the day, they tried to give their relationship another honest shot and the feelings just weren’t there anymore as Michael had fallen in love with Willow.

Now, with his feelings toward Willow shifting and Sasha desperate to not think about Cody, will Michael bridge that gap?

General Hospital Spoilers — LukeSpencer  Is Your Father

A growing relationship that spans beyond friendship at all could prove to be problematic for Michael and Sasha.

Right now, she thinks her relationship with Cody is toast because he may be her cousin. Sasha will be desperate to find a way to deny her mom’s claims that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is her father.

Should she set out to do just that and succeed, it’ll only leave her with one question: Who is her father if it’s not Robert? We imagine she won’t figure out it’s Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) until she has already fallen for Michael all over again.

For context, Luke was brother to the late Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) — who was Michael’s grandmother and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) mother.

Thus, if Sasha is Luke’s daughter, that makes Michael and Sasha second cousins. Ouch! Will Sasha sustain this blow for a second time? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
