General Hospital Spoilers: Kelly Monaco Fans Celebrate 3000 Episodes As Sam McCall

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Kelly Monaco may have been let go weeks ago, October 18 marked her 3000th episode as Sam McCall.

Fans may not have been able to save her job with Disney and ABC, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating this milestone.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kelly Monaco Has Played Sam McCall For Decades

General Hospital spoilers reveal that it has been over 21 years since this tiny stick of dynamite named Sam McCall showed up on our GH screens. Of course, Sam came to Port Charles with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (ex-Ingo Rademacher).

Sam quickly moved on to letting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) use her as a hostage one night. Later, they mourned their daughter, Lila.

Sam moved on with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and eventually, the two got married. Sam and Jason had their son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) who they thought they lost. Jason reunited them only to disappear for five years himself.

In the meantime, Sam had a daughter with Jason’s brother Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Now, Sam is with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), sadly, that is about to end.

GH Spoilers – Kelly Monaco Was Fired From General Hospital

It was confirmed in August that Kelly had been let go from the series where she has spend the last 21 years. Although it was said to be storyline dictated, Kelly, herself, has argued that point.

However, Sam has agreed to be a live donor for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins). Spoilers say that Sam will not make it out of the hospital alive.

Kelly Monaco offered this response on Soap Hub’s Instagram, “‘No primary role’.. do your homework. When Billy Miller was fired, Sam’s storyline stopped. Stripping Sam of every characteristic she had,”… “Something I worked for decades to build… Slowly dismantling her, into a character that I did not recognize, let alone the audience. Call it what you will… retaliation at it [sic] finest. I will give a proper statement. The truth will set you free.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Kelly Monaco Fans Keep Up The Fight

The I Stand With Kelly Campaign was launched by fans with the intention of pushing ABC and Disney to rehire Kelly. Over 15000 fans signed a petition pushing for this very action.

The campaign has even hired to play different scenes and post messages to the network. The truck has been there on different occasions to support Kelly.

On October 18, the truck was back at Prospect Studio with a fan inspired idea of how to bring Kelly back to the show, including Dante and Danny finding Sam and bringing her home.

From the Campaign sites on X , “Due to Sam’s death already having been filmed, we expanded the “What If” promo to be a storyline that has Danny and Dante figuring out she’s still alive.

It showcases the resulting issues that come with Sam reclaiming her life—including: the originally planned love triangle concept between Sante/Lulu along with Sam’s conflicts with others in Port Charles.”
