For her, she thinks that Derek has not taken any initiative even though he has done so much for her since they have gotten married. This includes getting her added on his insurance and trying to work with her when she gets upset about something.

However, it seems that Katie is looking at things from a more negative stance as she wants him to change who he is as a person like when she tried to get him to stop having dream by telling him that people in relationships have to change for their partner. However, she does not want to change herself. She even admits that she cannot support him and his dreams. Then the next moment, she is getting jealous over things that he wrote and did back in high school.

In the recent episode, she made fans upset as she kept saying that she did not know if she wanted to be with Derek and kept talking about how she might not choose him.

Fans noted that Derek was looking at Katie with such love while Katie kept going on about how she could not commit to him or promise that she would say yes on commitment day. However, this would not be a big problem if it was not for the fact that she would randomly reassure their relationship as it seems that she wants to have the upper hand.

It seems that Katie had high expectations for the person that she would be marrying as she wanted someone older. However, some viewers argue that even though she thinks that Derek is a boy, that she might actually be the one acting immature herself. What do you think?
