The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is doing everything to cover her steps and make sure she stays out of jail right now. However, while the Genoa City police department may not have a lead, we suspect that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t be too far behind Sharon.

Phyllis and Sharon have never seen eye-to-eye, but especially now that Sharon is trying to frame Phyllis’ son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for murder, we’re positive that she’s not going to want to play nice. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has been snooping around a little bit but doesn’t show any signs of actually being able to solve the case.

We think that Sharon is on the verge of making a mistake, and when she is not expecting it, Phyllis will be able to make a move. Could Phyllis bug Sharon’s apartment or even wait outside a window waiting to hear something?

If Sharon thinks she is alone, she may continue to confide in Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and let slip something she didn’t mean.

Sharon could argue with Cameron about the murder, and while she may be bad about what happened, Cameron will continue to try to justify it. Of course, remember, Cameron is all in her head, so if Phyllis does catch something, it’ll just be Sharon admitting she did something awful.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Confronts Sharon Newman?

With the truth coming out for Phyllis to hear, she could immediately confront Sharon in a fit of rage and we could see the two of them tear up Sharon’s apartment in a violent fight. Or, Phyllis could play the long con which we’re also use to seeing her do.

Phyllis could completely flip Sharon’s plan upside down and plant evidence that could turn Chance’s attention back to Sharon and prove that she’s responsible for the murder.

While she wouldn’t get the satisfaction of immediately catching Sharon, she would do it right and end up with Sharon imprisoned.
