“Blue Bloods” Star Abigail Hawk Teases Hopes Of Show Revival As Series Finale Draws Near

Blue Bloods fans are trying to hang on to any hope after CBS canceled the show this past spring. The police procedural has been on the air for 14 seasons, and despite pleas from both viewers and some of the series cast, the network has not shown any indication they are reversing their decision.

The second half of Season 14 started on October 18th and the series finale is slated for December 13. With that being said, a star of the show recently teased some hopes of a revival.

Actress Abigail Hawk recently revealed some optimism regarding a Blue Bloods revival to the Daily Express. Hawk currently plays Detective Abigail Baker on the show, and tells DE:

“I mean, yes the set is gone, but with the professionals we have in our industry it would take two seconds to rebuild a set like that if it came to that. So, there’s still a little teeny bit of a silver needle somewhere in the hope haystack, and I’ll hang on to it.”

She also elaborated on this during an interview with Starry Constellations Magazine, noting that when an entire crew and cast are willing and ready to continue on a show, then a potential conversation ‘may happen’.

Is “Blue Bloods” Going To A New Network?

Could Hawk be hinting that Blue Bloods is heading to another network? After all, CBS seems pretty final in its decision to move forward from the series.

The actress clarified with Hello magazine, stating that she doesn’t think there’s a possibility the drama could go to another network. She added that she’s aware of ‘chatter’ about it, but she doesn’t think it’s an option considering the talks that have been conducted with producers and the cast.
