Meghan Markle Doing “Background Work” For Brand After Prince Harry Chooses To Go Separate WaysMeghan Markle has been pretty much keeping a low profile since Prince Harry jetted to different countries solo in his goodwill mission. Yes, she did attend a couple of charities – two to be exact – but since then she’s been scarcely popping up in the news.

A royal expert thinks it’s because she wants her comeback to coincide with her brand launch, leading to a bigger splash. I can’t say I argue with that logic.

Insiders have recently revealed that the couple are keen on going their separate ways business and charity-wise and this seems to be the case judging from recent events. Harry has been to the UK, to Lesotho, and South Africa promoting different charities since his 40th birthday.

Meghan, on the other hand, is concentrating on her lifestyle brand, to make sure it launches to a massive audience. She’s said to be keen on making it the best it can be, with royal commentator Phil Dampier agreeing.

Dampier said: “I think Meghan is genuinely doing a lot of work in the background for this Netflix project and American Riviera Orchard. She probably wants a bit of a hiatus so that she can launch that.”

However, Meghan hasn’t had the smoothest run since she filed to trademark the brand’s name, American Riviera Orchard. At the moment, Royal Riviera has filed a trademark infringement against Meghan, hoping to block the Duchess from using her chosen name.

This is just the latest disappointment for the 43-year-old as she plans to enter a market dominated by rival Hollywood Queens Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart.

She’s going to even be competing with the Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond in the kitchen item space, which is one of American Riviera Orchard’s main offerings.

Another “bad luck” is that the launch of Meghan’s brand has been sadly delayed, and though its social media page was launched in March, none of its products are yet to be publicly available.

However, its new launch date will reportedly coincide with the release of her Netflix cooking show, which arrives early 2025.
