This was her driving force behind pursuing Sidwell’s diamonds; she planned to pay off the syndicate, secure a future for Sasha, provide for Ethan Lovett (James Ryan), and finally retire!”

The actress, who has openly discussed her ongoing battle with Long Covid, shared after finishing her work in Port Charles and returning to England, she made sure to clear her schedule. “I anticipated feeling exhausted,” she explained-that’s one of the few advantages of having Long Covid: you can almost predict your reactions, so, the fatigue wasn’t unexpected. I was prepared for it, and Simon [McCoy, her husband] was on board too. My family was all in agreement, saying, ‘Just take it easy and let us know when you’re up for visitors.’ It’s simply part of the journey.”

She would do it all over again without hesitation; “I loved it, I truly loved it,” she says with a smile about her recent experience on GH. “It was an amazing time-everyone there — the camera crew, the wardrobe team, the hair and makeup artists — made me feel so at ease. I can’t imagine any other acting job that would be as comfortable as this one; it’s such a privilege to live in England and keep coming back for this role.

It requires some complex storylines to make that work, and I’m so grateful they are willing to do that for me; I feel like the luckiest actress in the world. So many aspects of this job fit me perfectly, and to still be doing something I love in my 60s, even more than before… I just feel incredibly blessed.”
