General Hospital Spoilers: Nina And Willow Bound To Compete For Drew’s Affection?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) have come a long way with their mother-daughter relationship.

Willow never would have imagined that Nina would become the confidante she has become for her, but here they are. However, Willow also never would have imagined that her mother would be sleeping with the same man she is struggling to keep away from so she doesn’t betray her husband all over again.

Willow’s feelings for Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) have been quite obvious as far as Nina is concerned; there won’t be any saying she didn’t know. But is it fair to hold Nina accountable for having an intimate relationship with him first — or for continuing to pursue it when she’s freely allowed to?

Nina will probably quickly find herself feeling like this is all very unfair to her. Will she blame her daughter at all?

It’s not likely that she’ll want to, but we imagine she may feel some level of resentment just because Drew chose Willow over her. While that’s going to burn her up inside, she is most likely to cast the burden of blame on Drew.

After all, he’s the only one in this equation who knew he was sleeping with both Nina and her daughter. Does it matter that Nina was involved with him first?

It hurt bad enough when he kissed Willow, but thinking of them together in the same way that she has been with him is going to eat at her.

GH Spoilers – Hint Her Motherly Advice Might Have Been Biased

When Willow finds out about Nina and Drew’s ongoing relationship, she may not be all that surprised. At the same time, she’s not going to love it that neither of them were honest with her.

But what will sting the most is replaying the first conversation she had with Nina about Drew in her mind.

She went to her mother thinking that was the safest space for her to confide in someone and relieve some of her own guilt about cheating on her husband.

In hindsight, she’ll wonder if Nina’s advice to steer clear of Drew, keep the truth from Michael, and stick it out in her marriage was truly what Nina would have advised had she not had an interest in Drew herself and needed Willow to stay out of the picture.
