Hallmark Movie Spoilers – About Three Wise Men And A Baby And Its Inspiration

This 2022 release achieved remarkable success, becoming the most-watched original movie premiere of the year. There was also an earlier movie in 1987 called “Three Men And A Baby” and it was the movie that inspired the Hallmark Holiday movie franchise.

That movie starred Ted Danson, Tom Selleck and Steve Guttenburg as the three bachelor men, who find an abandoned baby on their doorstepFrom Hallmark’s Holiday , although the original three weren’t brothers.

This was the memorable movie when the three bachelors learned to be three dads, presumably one was the father as they had many flings with various women.

One memorably hilarious scene had them in a public restroom, having changed a diaper and held up the baby’s behind to be dried by a hand dryer machine!

Hallmark Movie Spoilers – The Brenner Brothers Are Back!

The men are older and wiser, they still have their dance moves, and the baby has grown into a boy named Thomas (Miles Marthaller) who’s in kindergarten. He’s adorable and bashful as his class struggles to put on a holiday pageant, and the Brenners are put in charge of it.

There’s a five-year time jump between the 2022 movie and the sequel, and three of the stars return- Andrew Walker (Luke), Paul Campbell (Stephen), and Tyler Hynes (Taylor).

Margaret Colin of “As The World Turns” fame who was also in the 1987 movie returns as the family matriarch, Barbara Brenner; things become more complicated when she has a boyfriend.

The guys do not handle that situation well, and putting on the pageant is  much more challenging than it sounds, not to mention contending with the consequences of their life choices.

Ultimately, it’s up to each of them to figure their lives out, while finding themselves as Thomas’ kindergarten pageant directors comes about through what basically is a comedy of errors.

The lovable, albeit at times obnoxious Brenner boys are chosen through a series of curveballs, shenanigans, and just plain old bad luck! Their mother’s too busy to help them, even if they were to get up the nerve to ask her.

The premiere of “Three Wiser Men And A Boy” takes place on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 23, 8:00 pm EST and 7 pm CST. It’s just one of the fantastic Holiday offerings by Hallmark this Christmas season.
