Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Remembering John Aniston

DOOL spoilers reveal that Lavoisier spoke about veteran John Aniston, who passed away on November 11, 2022. The soap vet was 89 years old and played Lavoisier’s on-screen father, Victor Kiriakis. Remembering Aniston, Lavoisier said,

“But anytime I was gifted the time to be in his (dressing) room, and just sitting there talking man to man, telling stories with a closed door, and then we get to our lines, was good. John’s the greatest. He felt like my dad. You can’t hate John Aniston.”

DOOL Spoilers – Passing & Punches

When Lavoisier heard about Aniston’s passing, he was actually at a social gathering. In a room with 200 people, a stranger was the one to tell Lavoisier the news about Aniston’s death. Lavoisier felt speechless and like he had been punched in the face, the actor recalls. 

Recalling his last scene with Aniston, Lavoisier said,

“We were having a heart to heart in a doorway and we hugged. I remember for some reason, we had to hold the hug much longer than you would normally hold a hug ever on set, and that was the final time that I saw him. The scene was something along the lines of, ‘I love you. I love you, too. You’ll always be my son. Thanks, dad.’”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers –  Drake Hogestyn’s Death

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Lavoisier also discussed Hogestyn. As fans know, Hogestyn also passed away. The actor, who played John Black, also left a positive impression on Lavoisier. In fact, the actor shared a nice moment with Hogestyn when they filmed Victor’s memorial scenes.

Lavoisier was asked about Philip and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). The actor said that Philip wishes Xander could be more like him, more level-headed. Lavoisier also explained that Philip truly believes he can run Titan the way Victor wanted it run.

Philip also sees the legacy as his birthright. The actor teased that the storyline is exciting and keeps going, so expect some more twists!

Also, Philip and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will reignite their former romance. However, with Stephanie being unable to control herself around Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), will the relationship stand a chance? Fans will have to keep watching to find out!
