DOOL Spoilers – Could This Be Dougie’s Son?

Given the promo clip that shows someone surprising Julie, it’s possible that Peyton Meyer’s character will also be named Doug-and that could very be the case..

This would fit perfectly if Meyer is portraying Doug’s long-lost grandson, and there are compelling reasons to believe this theory.

Doug had a son named Douglas “Dougie” LeClaire (mentioned character), who was born as a result of Doug’s sperm donation during a surrogate program in the 1970s.

It’s plausible that Peyton Meyer’s character is Dougie’s child, making him Doug’s grandson and potentially sharing the same name.
