Apparently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to buy a home in Portugal has a lot of people wondering if they are looking to leave America for good and somehow return to Europe on a full-time basis.

After all, Prince Harry has made it pretty clear that he certainly misses the life that he left behind in the UK and is so homesick that he’s willing to do whatever he can to be closer to London, even if that means he has to live in mainland Europe for now.

Royal expert Gareth Russell recently weighed in on the matter. In an interview with GB News, he put it this way, “Portugal may be something they’re planning to keep more private because they have been quite reticent in talking about it at all. Whereas the Montecito purchase was fairly public.”

He continued, “Whether they go private or public with the new Portuguese residence will be a good indicator of where they’re going in terms of how public or private they’ll be going forward, and whether it will be a change to what we have seen in the past.”
