The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, December 5, 2024, is finally here! In today’s episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) face a crossroads in their relationship.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Highlights

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) continue bickering. Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) flirts with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) as Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) glares.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Rants

B&B recap for Thursday, December 5 reveal that Steffy feels bad for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Hope says Carter has a mind of his own. Hope says they felt Steffy was destroying the company, and they wanted to stop her.

Steffy tells Hope that because of their stunt, neither her or Carter can step foot in Forrester Creations again. 

At Forrester Creations, Ridge paces the office. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) walks in looking for Steffy. Ridge says Steffy is “around somewhere.”

Taylor wants to know what’s wrong. Ridge tells Taylor about Carter trying to take over the company.

B&B Recap – Katie Logan’s Discovery

Brooke thinks back to her conversation with Ridge about Carter’s termination. Brooke also recalls Ridge blasting Hope. The thought is interrupted by Katie Logan (Heather Tom) coming into her office.

Brooke needs to tell Katie something. Katie learns about Carter and Hope’s romance. 

Electra gushes about her oldest friend working at this restaurant. Will politely smiles as Electra gives a dazzling grin to Remy. It’s time for Remy to get back to work.

Remy says he’ll see Electra around, and says it was nice meeting Will. When Remy gets back to work, Electra tells Will that he will like getting to know her friend.

Electra says Remy is a great guy. Will tries to give a weak reassuring smile. In the background over creepy music, Remy is tense as he stares at Electra and Will. 

Brooke is sorry to tell Katie this, it must be hard to hear. Katie says that she and Carter have been over for a long time now, she’s shocked it’s Hope, but not upset.

Brooke says except there is more. Brooke tells Katie about Carter being fired for trying to seize control of the company.

Taylor thinks Ridge must be joking. Ridge explains what happened as Taylor reels. When Taylor asks why Carter did it, Ridge says Hope. 

Hope and Steffy continue bickering. Hope wants Steffy to admit she was wrong about her trying to seduce John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). 

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Electra Forrester’s Past

The Bold and the Beautiful recap reveals that Electra explains to Will that she and Remy worked at a movie theatre back home. Electra talks about horror movies as Will mentions her “mysterious vibes.”

Electra nervously laughs, then talks about Remy again. Electra says they go way back, and they were really close, but not romantically.

Electra assures Will that there is nothing to be jealous of; she is with the man she wants to be with. As they hold hands, Remy glares.

Katie can’t believe it! A coup! Really?! Brooke says Carter’s priorities have changed. Katie asks if Steffy knows. Brooke reasons she probably does by now.

Katie realizes that Steffy was wrong about Hope seducing Finn. Brooke says this whole chain of events was triggered by Steffy. Brooke says now, Ridge is listening to Steffy and blaming Hope for Carter’s betrayal.

Taylor wants to know why Carter would do this. Ridge keeps saying Hope. Taylor wants to know HOW. Ridge brings up Hope and Carter are together. Taylor thought Carter was single! So did Ridge.

Hope tries to explain why she didn’t say it was Carter before. Hope says that she wanted to protect Carter from Steffy’s judgment. Hope says Steffy could have taken her word for it, and just believed her.

Hope says Steffy was just looking for any reason to get rid of her. Steffy can’t believe that Hope is trying to justify her coup. 

Electra asks Will if he wants to see a new movie with her. Will agrees and as they flirt and joke, they kiss. Remy glares from across the restaurant.

Brooke tells Katie that Ridge believes Hope has corrupted Carter. Katie thinks this is ridiculous. Katie says Carter would not have done this unless he felt it was absolutely necessary.

Brooke tells Katie that Ridge is talking terribly about Hope. Katie is worried that this is going to affect BRIDGE. 

Steffy says there is no justification. Hope says the company was starting to suffer. Steffy debates that, and they go on rehashing the same issues.

Steffy says it is “really sad” that Hope led a promising man down this dark path. Steffy says that Carter didn’t just betray Ridge, he betrayed her too. 

Taylor says a secret romance isn’t the best start for a new couple. Taylor is sorry that Ridge has been betrayed this way. Ridge trusted Carter with his life.

Ridge brings up Carter sleeping with Quinn. That should’ve been a red flag, Ridge says. Taylor asks if this is really all because of Hope. Brooke quietly opens the door just as Ridge is about to answer.

Ridge says that Hope is pulling the strings. Brooke slams the door as Taylor spins around. Ridge glares at his “destiny.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap – Thursday, December 5, 2024

Steffy says that this isn’t Carter. Hope agrees that Carter is kind and loyal, but that’s why the coup had to happen. Hope calls Steffy’s business decisions “silly turf wars.”

Hope calls it poor leadership. Steffy says the coup is all about Hope and how it benefits her. Steffy screams that Carter’s career and reputation is done because of Hope.

That is when Hope says it was a mutual decision. Steffy would be impressed if she wasn’t so appalled. Hope accuses Steffy of taking Carter for granted. Steffy denies it.

Steffy says Carter never felt slighted before … until Hope. Steffy calls it a travesty. Hope says the Logans helped build Forrester Creations.

Steffy replies and now she wants a bigger piece of the pie, so the Forresters are right to be cautious. Steffy says all Hope and Brooke do is destroy good men.

Steffy says, “Congratulations, Hope. You are just like your mother.”

Brooke demands Ridge repeat what he said. Ridge stands up and says Brooke knows where he stands. Brooke says Ridge has a right to be upset but to put all the blame on Hope … Taylor stands up and can’t believe Brooke is defending her daughter right now.

Brooke says she is not defending Hope’s actions but she’s not going to let her be vilified. Ridge says Carter wouldn’t have done this on his own. Brooke and Taylor debate over who is the one really responsible for the coup.

Brooke says Hope doesn’t use people. Ridge says Carter was influenced by Hope. Ridge says something happened to Carter to make him do this. Brooke tries to tell Ridge that Hope played a part, but isn’t 100% responsible.  

Brooke reminds Ridge of their promise not to let anyone or anything come between them. Brooke asks him not to pick sides. Brooke begs Ridge not to let Taylor and Steffy pit them against each other.
