British royal family news reveals that Kate Middleton is once again holding her annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
This is good news for royal fans as well as the royal family, who could use some cheer after the year they’ve had. Both Princess Catherine and King Charles were diagnosed with cancer and it has been a challenging time at the palace.
There is an extra special reason to tune in this year, and it has everything to do with the biggest pop star of all time.
Kate Middleton – Is Cancer Free
The Princess of Wales is including a special group of guests, a group of individuals who understand what it is to face life threatening challenges.
The Sun reports that Princess Catherine has invited survivors of the deadly Taylor Swift-themed dance class stabbing in Southport to the Christmas concert.
The outlet noted that the group “will reunite at Westminster Abbey on Dec. 6. The royal family has been a tremendous support to the families. The King met with survivors, then Kate took time out to meet them in private last month with Prince William.”

Kate has not left it to her assistants to invite the kids, she has “personally ensured everyone is invited to her concert which … will mean more to her than ever before.”
In July, a teenage boy stabbed kids aged 6 to 11 at the Taylor Swift-themed dance class. Sadly, three children died and eight more were injured.
Royal Family News – Christmas In The UK
Kate announced this summer that she is cancer free after receiving preventative chemotherapy. She has had a handful of appearances since then. One of her first post-chemotherapy appearances saw Kate spend time with the families of the three victims.
She also met the class dance teacher, Leanne Lucas, and emergency responders who were on duty that day.
At that time Kensington Palace released a statement about the impacted of the tragedy: “Ensuring emergency responders receive long-term mental health support following traumatic events is a cause close to the heart of The Prince of Wales, given his first-hand experience as an emergency responder while serving as a pilot with RAF search and rescue and East Anglian Air Ambulance.”
