Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Did Catharina Fake Her Death In Greece, Or Was Konstantin Lying?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors pose an important question, now that Catharina Meleounis Greene (Susan Elena Matus) has been proven alive. Did Catharina become estranged from her father and fake her death in Greece, or was Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) merely lying?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Konstantin The “Kon”

When Konstantin was in Salem, he was always playing con games, so much so that he was dubbed “Konstantin the Kon-or Con”. He believed the man he claimed was his childhood friend, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) owed him money, and he came to charm Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) out of her inheritance.

He also sought to turn John Black, (Drake Hogestyn) back into The Pawn-Konstantin apparently either worked for or was quite familiar with Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).

However, the reprogramming wasn’t successful that Konstantin attempted and John merely played along.

Both he and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) knew he was up to no good, but John’s conscience ate him alive thinking he’d killed Konstantin’s teenage daughter!

DOOL Spoilers – Scenario-John Shoots And Both Konstantin And Katharina Fall

The scenario at the time was this; John and Steve were on assignment in Konstantin and Katharina’s home town in Greece, and John entered their house.

John, apparently believing he needed to defend himself, shot his gun and the bullets hit Konstantin and Catharina.

John didn’t hang around to see if they were dead or not because Konstantin apparently gave him reason to shoot and Catharina walked in the room, an innocent bystander.

This memory always haunted him-and he couldn’t forgive himself, that’s why he went to Greece to see if she may have survived, so he could have peace with himself.

How Clyde Weston (James Read) got involved and John wound up in the room where Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) was in Missouri may never be explained.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Someone’s Lying, Or There’s A Lot Of Explaining For Catharina To Do

Now that Catharina will likely be living in Salem because her children are all there, either Konstantin was lying about her death, or she’s got a lot of explaining to do!

Somehow, she wound up in the United States married to an American man, apparently living in Missouri while her father remained in Greece and ran a restaurant.

There is a possibility that the two became estranged, or Konstantin was merely lying and knew his daughter was married and in the US.

Oddly enough, Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) and his younger siblings showed up in Salem two days after Konstantin’s death. Is that also a coincidence-or is there more to the plot?
