Get a Glimpse of ‘Beyond the Gates’: CBS Releases Sneak Peek of New Soap

Beyond The Gates is quickly approaching its February 24, 2025, debut. Excitement is really starting to build since Beyond the Gates will be the first new network soap opera in over 25 years.

This week marks the final week of CBS’s The Talk, which Beyond The Gates will eventually be replacing. The series is a joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP, and its primary focus will be on an African American family, the Dupree’s.

Beyond The Gates Spoilers – The last new soap to premiere on broadcast TV was Passions

The last time a new soap opera premiered on one of the main television networks was 1999, when NBC brought Passions to life. In addition, there hasn’t been a soap that primarily revolved around an African American family since Generation in 1989, also from NBC.

So, this will be the first time in years that soap opera fans will have a chance to fall in love with brand new characters and setting for a very long time.

According to Soap Opera Digest, a new statement for the series reads as follows: The teaser introduces The Duprees – a prominent Black family who hold court over their affluent in Maryland from Fairmount Crest.

The country club at the center of their luxurious enclave filled with wealthy residents’ deep secrets.” The promo starts with a black Mercedes driving up to a gated community. Then viewers will see a table with a sign that reads, “Reserved for the Duprees.”

Beyond the Gates Spoilers – A new teaser shows a first look at several characters

The teaser itself includes a lot of drama intended to draw new fans right into the new soap. One of the new characters will be Dani Dupris, as played by Kara Mosely. In the brief scene, Dani can be seen brandishing a golf club.

Using it to clear off another character’s desk, before slamming it down right in front of the person sitting at the desk. Just from the clips, it seems like there will be plenty of drama to space once Beyond the Gates premieres this coming February.

In case that wasn’t enough, the show’s Instagram page debuted a second teaser that is well worth seeing as well. Both clips will be linked below.
