Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that a lot of former Salemites returned to pay their last respects to Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). There were three people that should have shown up but didn’t: Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bill Hayes’ Death

DOOL spoilers reveal that Bill passed away earlier this year. Since the soap has such an advanced production schedule, fans did not see Doug Williams’ death aired until December 2024. When Bill’s funeral storyline aired, fans saw a lot of people come back to Salem.

Some of these characters were returning for Thanksgiving and Christmas, which just happened to coincide with Doug’s death.

DOOL Spoilers – Belle Black’s Return

Belle Black (Martha Madison) came back to Salem and explained her crumbled marriage to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It seemed that Belle was holding onto hope that her marriage would survive.

When Belle came back to Salem, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) came as well but separately. Sadly, Shawn told Belle that it was time to end their marriage.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that fans know from a preview clip that Belle ends up in a passionate exchange with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). However, fans love SHELLE together, so what could bring them back together?

Even though Claire is still in South Africa, could she come back? Claire was mentioned during Doug’s funeral storyline. It was mentioned that Claire could not make Doug’s funeral service because she was sick.

At some point, Claire might want to come say one final goodbye to Doug. Plus, with Shawn and Belle both back in Salem, it’s only right that Claire be there too

DOOL Spoilers – More Young Characters Needed

The soap has added some younger characters. So, there does seem to be a better mix of veterans, teens, and the ages in between. However, many of these characters are already related.

Plus, fans really like seeing families and not just individual characters. So, if Claire comes back to Salem, maybe she can remind Shawn and Belle why they fought so hard to stay together.
