Cameron, of course, plays Drew Quartermaine, and in a cruel twist of fate, as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wished Drew would lose everything, his portrayer did in real life!

The episode where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) fictitiously is caught in a fire and burned was ironically and sadly pre-empted for news of massive fires in California.

One of the areas that burned included Cameron Mathison’s real-life home, but unlike what happened fictitiously to Michael, neither Cameron or anyone in the house was hurt.

He took to Instagram to tell what happened and to assure his fans that he’s okay. Many of his fans were worried and he took the time to take a video of what used to be his home and give updates.

GH Spoilers – Cameron Mathison’s Children Are Studying Abroad

Fortunately, Mathison’s kids, Lucas and Leila, are away from their home in California, pursuing their studies in England and France, respectively.

Amidst the raging infernos sweeping across Los Angeles, Pasadena, and the San Fernando Valley, tens of thousands of residents are facing evacuation orders, while the air quality plummets to dangerously hazardous levels.
