As viewers know, the relationship between Mindy and Zack was always on the rocks as Zack never tried to build that relationship between them. As he never moved in with Mindy and only gave her false hope. However, Mindy kept trying until she found out that Zack was in communication with Mindy’s friend, Lindsey, which seemed to be strange to her. Especially since they both deleted their text messages when she asked to see them. This was frustrating for her, but she decided to keep trying. That is until she found out that Zack still was not being 100% honest with her, and she decided to end things there.

Fast forward to the reunion episode, they brought out one of Mindy’s friends who were able to give more information for viewers who only knew what was shown throughout the season. It turns out, Lindsey was trying to build a relationship with Zack, which was suspected by viewers.

Mindy’s friend told the interviewer that Lindsey felt like she was a better match for Zack then Mindy was and was under the impression that she and Zack would build a relationship once the show was over. As for Zack, he denied that he ever wanted to get into a relationship with Lindsey.

With this new information, it confirms what viewers were suspecting. Mindy is not against starting the friendship with Lindsey back up since they have mutual friends; however, Mindy’s friend shot that idea down for herself. As she has lost a lot of trust in Lindsey.
