Hallmark Mystery recently published the second Mystery Island movie, Winner Takes All. Now, the third movie in the series has been announced, Mystery Island: Play For Keeps.

Hallmark Mystery announces Mystery Island: Play For Keeps

In the wake of the second Mystery Island movie, Winner Takes All, Hallmark has announced the third in the series, Mystery Island: Play For Keeps. Meanwhile, the movie stars Elizabeth Henstridge, Charlie Weber and Kezia Burrows, and this time, the tagline is: “A new game meets an old flame.”
Set to premiere in June, 2025, Play For Keeps tells the story of a corporate retreat on Mystery Island where one of the guests is Emilia’s former fiancé. As they meet again, old feelings become complicated while tensions run high, as allegations arise after a guest is found dead.
When does Mystery Island: Play For Keeps premiere on Hallmark Mystery?

The third in the series, Mystery Island: Play For Keeps, will premiere on Thursday, June 5, at 8 pm ET, on Hallmark Mystery. At this stage, Hallmark Channel hasn’t added the movie to its June schedule, so it isn’t clear if the new mystery will also air
The premiere of Mystery Island: Play For Keeps starring Elizabeth Henstridge and Charlie Weber is on Thursday, June 5, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Mystery. As yet, Hallmark Channel has not added to its June schedule.
Meanwhile, Play For Keeps will be available for streaming on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere. Moreover, the Mystery Island movie will be available for streaming on Hallmark+ the following day, Friday, June 6, 2026. Of interest to note, Sleuthers who missed the first two movies can now find them on the streaming channels now.
For fans wondering about additional movies in the series, Hallmark has yet to announce anything official. However, Mystery Island screenwriter John Christian Plummer told TV Shows Ace:
I can’t give specifics, but I can say this won’t be our last visit to Mystery Island.
