Meghan Markle Got Banned From Vogue Because She Did This To Anna Wintour

Wow, the Meghan Markle trainwreck appears to still be in session, even though it’s been working overdrive since the day the Hollywood Reporter published a report that once again named her a bully. I say once again because she had been named a bully back in the UK prior to Megxit.

Then she hid under the umbrella of a “coordinated smear campaign,” but has Meghan Markle simply just bitten enough fingers as to make it impossible for her to cleanse her image? The Duchess seems to rebrand every few months, and yet she’s still to find the perfect formula.

Meghan Markle’s Micromanaging Cost Her A Vogue Feature And A Valued Friendship

It’s 2022 again and Meghan Markle has just landed a cover on the British Vogue, along with a feature highlighting one of the charities that she represents.

However, things went awry when Meghan Markle tried to micromanage everything, as if, per a source speaking to MailOnline, she were on the same level as celebrity giants like Beyoncé. But the thing is, it got on both Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful’s nerves and well, they sent her packing.

According to the source, “Anna heard about [Meghan Markle’s demands] and just like banned her and said, ‘That’s it. We don’t want to do this.’ And so she didn’t get the cover, and I guess she didn’t even get the story. [Edward] probably agreed with Anna that you don’t get to call the shots on who’s on the cover. That’s absolutely an editor’s decision.”

Some of these demands included having total control of the edits and final piece, which, let’s be honest, is a bit too much.

“’Anna was p***** off. Anna was like frustrated with all the micromanaging, and just was like, “All right. That’s it. She can’t have the cover and we’re not doing the story.”‘

The source added that Meghan’s “level of desire for detail and control on the media is almost like Beyoncé level… but she’s not Beyoncé.”

In defense, an insider claimed that the Duchess was actually relaxed and had no expectations of the shoot and the interview, but it was her team that enforced those rules because they had “high expectations for the piece.”

Even though her relationship with Enninful soured at the time, things are said to have calmed down enough for the editor to send her flowers for her 43rd birthday.
