General Hospital spoilers say there’s a lot of speculation about whether or not actress Rebecca Herbst will be leaving the show. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital Specs: Rebecca Herbst Leaving Port Charles!
A lot of General Hospital fans have noticed that Liz has not been on the small screen lately and that the character has even been sidelined with the broken leg storyline.
Not only that, but there’s also speculation that her contract might be up and that her negotiations with the producers have not been going the way that she would like to see.
There was talk that they weren’t going to renew her contract and that Rebecca had one foot out the door. As our readers can imagine, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “She is a staple of GH, and if she is fired, people will raise hell, just like last time. She is one of the last hospital characters that people actually give a care about. It would foolish to cut her.”
What’s Next For Liz?
Another critic wrote, “The character of Liz has been uninteresting since 2007. I don’t think the canvas as it is today needs her or would miss her. If this rumour is true it wouldn’t affect my viewing of the show. She’s barely on as is and I don’t notice.”
And then there was this comment as well: “It would serve them right if she left. She’s so vivacious and dynamic. She deserves a better storyline. Look at what happened to Kevin when he left gh. He has a great storyline now.”
So far the producers have not made any comments about the rumors just yet.

I think that Lucky should be given a better story line. I hate to see him leave the show, the same with Liz, she has been a staple on the show forever, just give her a better story line. I know it can be done.
Get rid of drew I never liked him even when he was good guy.G.H send Drew packing.Hallmark misses him we don’t.
I agree get rid of Drew. The sooner the better and while were talking about getting rid of people get rid of
Carlo Rota (Jenz Sidwell) and take his real life wife Nazeen Contractor (AD Turner) with him!!
Get rid of Drew, I hate that storyline makes me absolutely sick! Then do what you can to keep Hurst, she is a stable, I do not know why Jonathan is leaving ( I blame the writers)
Then get rid of Rick! That is another story line that stinks.
Someone in the courtroom should have said that he is Sonny’s brother and does anything he can to hurt him and his family! To me a conflict of interest.
I hope they will finally let Shasha be happy, I know there has to be someone conflicts, it’s a soap, but that does not mean at least some people should be happy.
Nurses Ball, was not all that great there was some good entertainment, but why did they not use Lucky he is very talented. Or Marshall, or even Eddie Maine. I be there are some others on GH that have talents as well.
It could have been Great Entertainment.
Curtis could bring in music to the lounge. Lucky, Spinelli even Jason could all sing together. They are all excellent musicians. Yes, throw in some Eddie Main also. We need entertainment not just back stabbing!
Please Writers END the Drew Storyline Now!! Kill him off somehow, or just send him to DC!! PLEASE don’t make his Character a Clone just get rid of him!! Now about Elizabeth there has to be a storyline these Writers can Cook up for her!! When Lucky said he was leaving and asked her to go with him, the look on her face was hey I just might!! Is this the way the writers are ending her contract, I sure HOPE NOT many FANS will NOT BE HAPPY so writers please DON’T!! Writers Open the Doors for all OUR OLD ACTORS & ACTRESSES to Come Back!! Let’s have all our storylines that are now be Happy, and START SOME NEW ONES with our Come Back Actress & Actors!! Just a Wishful Thinking, otherwise GH is Going Down the TUBES!!

If this is about money it would be the perfect time to get rid of deadmeat. Some examples would be Drew, Lulu should run outta there with shame, Natalia, Jena her son Marcos though I would be happy for him if he stays with Lucas, charlotte etc. You’re already breaking our hearts with Lucky leaving don’t take our Liz also
