Days of Our Lives Spoilers Friday, May 8: Jake Questioned About Ben’s Mystery Goons – Sarah’s Unpleasant Surprise – Lani’s Arrest Offer to Eli

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, May 8, tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will put Lani Price (Sal Stowers) on the hot seat. Lani helped Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) flee, so Eli will want some answers. Since Eli and Lani were just reinstated as detectives, Eli won’t like the fact that Lani’s being so careless.

Eli saw Lani on the security tape with Kristen, so there’ll be no wiggling out of this conversation. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will have to tackle Eli’s questions, but she probably won’t be sorry. As far as Lani’s concerned, she was helping a friend and mother in need. Kristen should be reunited with her daughter, but she wouldn’t have that chance without Lani’s assistance.

Of course, that’s exactly why Eli will be furious. Kristen is a criminal, and Lani had a duty to uphold the law. As they argue, Lani will ultimately stick her wrists out and urge Eli to arrest her if he must. That’s a small price to pay for being there for a pal – especially one who’s desperate to raise her child.

However, Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) the one who intends to raise Rachel DiMera Black at the moment. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah will run into another problem as she tries to keep Rachel. Jeanne Marie (Christine Kellogg Darin) will visit again and leave Sarah in a bind since Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) is still her hostage. This whole getaway plan isn’t working out as well as Sarah hoped!

Even so, Sarah will keep her eye on the prize: a life with “Mickey.” What Sarah doesn’t know is Kristen’s on her way to Paris. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will confront Sarah next week, so that’ll lead to some shockers and shakeups in this storyline.

NBC Days Spoilers: Jake Lambert Denies Being Stefan

In the meantime, that kiss with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) should seal the deal for Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus). It seems Gabi will be feeling those familiar Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) sparks, but Jake will insist that’s crazy talk. He’ll continue to deny being Stefan, but Gabi won’t rest until she proves Jake is her “dead” husband.

Over with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), she’ll remain in panic mode over unconscious Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Ciara will get Ben awake and talking eventually, so that’ll relieve some of her fears. DOOL fans can expect Ciara to call 911 and tend to Ben’s injuries, so he’ll definitely appreciate the way she’s coming to his rescue.

Once Eli comes on the scene, he’ll question Ben about happened and get the scoop on these goons. Jake will get grilled as well, but he’ll assure Eli that he has no idea what’s going on. After Eli exits, Ben will push Jake to tell him the real story. Those baddies clearly wanted something from Jake, so Ben will urge his boss to spill all.

Finally, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will give Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) some important updates. Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is in the loop on the baby switch thanks to Xander, so he’ll fill Xander in and face backlash. Nevertheless, what’s done is done. Victor and Xander will just hope Maggie can manage to cope somehow.

Luckily, a big twist is coming up that’ll reveal a secret about the night of the crash. It sounds like it’ll get Maggie off the hook sooner or later, so stay tuned.
