The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 11, tease that viewers will be treated to an episode that first aired on June 30, 1998. In the episode, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will demand to know from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) what he’s hiding from her. Nikki will reveal that Diane Jenkins (Alex Donnelley) has been saying things, and when Victor doesn’t contradict what Diane says, Nikki will realize that what Diane said is true.

Victor will say that Diane’s lawyer has her convinced that she’s still legally married to him. Nikki will insist that she never wants to see Diane again, and that Victor will have to deal with the situation. Victor will say that Diane will cooperate because he’s going to go after her attorney. Victor will say that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) knows something about Diane’s attorney, and he’s going to find out what it is.

Next on Y&R, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will talk with Diane at her apartment, and Diane will tell Michael that she went to see Nikki to tell her who the real Mrs. Victor Newman was. Michael won’t like it that she did that, and he’ll say that now Victor will be on the warpath and he needs to find out the details about the marriage ceremony. Michael will take off, telling Diane to wait there for him.

The Young and the Restless Updates: Nick Newman Reassures Sharon Newman About Grace Turner

Next on Y&R, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive home, followed shortly by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes). Cassie will want Nick to stay for dinner, and once Cassie leaves the room, Nick will tell Sharon about Grace Turner’s (Jennifer Gareis) promotion and he’ll gush about the good impression that Grace has made on him.

Later, Sharon and Nick will talk about Grace’s promotion, and Nick will get the impression that Sharon is concerned about him pushing Grace too hard and too soon. Nick will assure Sharon that he’ll take care of Grace, but that right now Sharon is the only woman on his mind. Sharon and Nick will canoodle.

Over at her place, Grace will come home to a romantic scene, complete with flowers and candles. Tony Viscardi (Jay Bontatibus) will appear, telling Grace that he wants to help her celebrate her promotion. Grace and Tony will talk about how she never expected to make it when she came to Genoa City, but Tony knew that she would.

Y&R Updates: Jill Abbott Goes Snooping Around The Chancellor Attic

At the Chancellor estate, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be in the attic rummaging around and looking for whatever Phillip Chancellor (Thom Bierdz) might have left her. Meanwhile, downstairs, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will quiz Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) about her strange behavior. Katherine will then hear a noise from the attic and will head upstairs to see what’s going on.

Next on Y&R, Victor will show up at Christine’s office to complain about Michael handling Diane’s case. Christine will defend Michael and say that he’s just defending his client. Victor will say that now he has to go after Michael and wants to know everything about him. Christine will mention that a few years ago Michael was involved in a sexual harassment case involving her.

Christine will insist that Michael has changed, but Victor will disagree and say that he will protect his family, while teaching Michael a lesson he’ll never forget. Victor will vow that Michael will pay the price for going up against him.

What Happened On The Young And The Restless: Michael Baldwin Gets Intel About Victor Newman’s Marriage To Nikki Newman

Meanwhile, Michael will pay a visit to the minister who performed the marriage at the hospital. The minister will assure Michael that the wedding was real, and that all the paperwork was in order. Michael will ask if the minister knows that Victor got a divorce just hours before the wedding in the hospital. The minister will be confused, and Michael will leave.

Michael will then visit with the person who issued the marriage license to Victor, and he’ll quickly learn that the man got an injunction from a judge ordering him to grant a marriage license to Victor. Michael will then go to see the judge, who will note that he issued the injunction because Nikki’s condition at the time was grim. Michael will insinuate to the judge that he questions the validity of the marriage as much as Michael does.

Young and the Restless Updates: Jill Abbott & Katherine Chancellor’s Big Attic Brawl

Back in the Chancellor attic, Jill will find a box with Phillip’s name on it, but as she locates an envelope with her name on it in the box, she’ll hear Katherine calling out to her from afar. Jill will hurriedly put the envelope back in the box and cover the box just as Katherine emerges in the attic. Katherine will be horrified to see Jill all dirty and dusty from her time in the attic.

Katherine will ask Jill what she’s doing, and Jill will cover by saying she was looking for a memento bellowing to Phillip, and she’ll even produce a tie clasp asking if she can keep it. Katherine will say yes, then she’ll berate Jill for living in the past. The women will argue, and Katherine will strike Jill, which will lead to more name calling and a physical brawl. Jill will even try to strangle Katherine, but she’ll eventually come to her senses and Katherine will insist that Jill leave the mansion immediately.

Young and the Restless Today’s Episode: Victor Newman Sends Nikki Newman Out Of Town

Next on Y&R, Victor will arrive back home, and he’ll tell a distraught Nikki that he wants her to go away for a few days to visit her sister Casey Reed (Roberta Leighton) – he’s already made the arrangements. Nikki won’t want to go, but Casey will call and tell them that she’s happy to have Nikki arrive for a visit. Nikki will get upset and go pack for her trip, dodging Victor’s kiss.

Later, Nikki will return to the living room, packed and ready for her trip. Victor will tell her that she should never forget that they are married, and nothing will ever change that. Nikki and Victor will declare their love for each other, and Nikki will go. Then Victor will say to himself that whatever it takes, he and Diane are going to end things permanently.
