Married at First Sight Spoilers: Amber Bowles Shares New Divorce Updates – Delay On Divorce

Married at First Sight (MAFS) star, Amber Bowles, revealed that her divorce to Matthew Gwynne had been blocked by Matthew Gwynne since he decided that he would not be signing the paperwork. However, she revealed that she would be going ahead with the divorce with or without the help of her estranged husband.

The two were apart of season nine, which took place in Charlotte, NC, and were married last year. Amber conducted a Q&A session on Instagram, which took place a week after Lifetime’s Married at First Sight: Where Are They Now? Which was a special that showed Matt, who refused to sign papers which would legally set things in motions for their divorce?

Married at First Sight Spoilers – Matthew Gwynne Delays Divorce

Since the special had been filmed at the start of this year, a follower of Amber asked if Matt might have signed the paper by now. However, it seems that Matt has still decided not to sign the divorce papers. This is not going to stop her from divorcing him as she has gotten a lawyer involved, and they are pursuing other legal options that are available for her.

In the Insta story, Amber stated, “So Matt actually never signed the divorce papers, but that’s okay. My lawyers [and I] are just going to pursue an absolute divorce, and it’s actually easier. I don’t need a signature or anything.” She had previously revealed in the MAFS Special, that she had sent Matt the paper three times to the address that he provided for her. However, each time, she never received an answer from him.

Although Matt has replied that he does not want to be married to Amber, he has not taken the steps in order to set the divorce in motion. His claims so far are that he wants to handle things through their lawyer in a professional manner.

However, Amber has shown her frustration about this by saying, “I don’t want anything from you, I just want a divorce… Just let me move on with my life! That’s all I want. I’m not trying to be professional; I’m trying to get divorced… We have no cordiality. I’m not friends with you, so I want a f-cking divorce now… He’s stupid! He’s an ignorant liar!”

Amber revealed more during her Q&A, saying that she wanted to have a divorce party by June 2020, but that is waiting for Matt to sign the papers. “But someone delayed my divorce because he wouldn’t sign! So my absolute divorce, without his signature, will be processed around July. So if quarantine is over, I say we do [my divorce party] in July or August.”
