Prince William And Kate Middleton Are Taking Center Stage Once Again

It looks like Prince William and Kate Middleton are taking center stage once again. According to the latest reports, the Prince and Princess of Wales will apparently have a starring role this week when France’s President Macron and his wife Brigette Macron will visit the UK in a state visit. The couple will greet the Macrons as they land in London on Tuesday. WIlliam and Kate, who are also undertaking the role on King Charles’ behalf, will then accompany the French couple to Windsor Castle, which is about 15 miles from Heathrow Airport.

For those who have been paying attention, this is apparently a very big deal for Prince William and Kate Middleton, as they are transitioning into their future roles as the next leaders of the British royal family.

But is this something they really want to do or are they being forced into it? Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

What’s Next For The Prince And Princess of Wales?

Some have even commented with, “Since when is picking up people at the airport and riding in a carriage an important role in a state visit? William and Kate are not invited to the luncheon and state banquet.”

“Charles and Camilla don’t want them to be focal points of this visit, but they need to be because William will have to take the lead when it’s his turn on the throne.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “I can see crowds just because Windsor is such a tourist hot spot so you will probably have people out and about anyway who will just stop to watch the procession. I don’t see anyone going out of their way to see Kate in another coat dress and hat.”

And then there was this comment as well: “

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
