Jacob Hawthorne’s Memory Is Triggered

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, July 9, reveal that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) and Jacob will compare notes, which triggers a shocking memory for the cop. Does this have to do with his father and police chief, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik)?

Is this a childhood memory that surfaces for Jacob, or something that’s happened while he’s been at the force?

It sounds like Jacob and Smitty are about to get to the bottom of things, which could equal out to bad news for Elon and Smitty’s husband, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).

Vanessa McBride’s Ultimatum

Across town, Vanessa will present Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) with an ultimatum. Could this be due to the conversation she had with Doug McBride (Jason Graham) and Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) at the bar during the Monday, July 7 episode?

This is when Joey’s right-hand man revealed that he was ‘terrified’ of his boss; however, there’s also a good chance that Doug also gets into her ear.

Still, Vanessa knows how dangerous Joey is, but his criminal ways seem to have her more attracted to him than ever, so will her threat be a serious one?

Dani Dupree’s Meltdown

Finally, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday imply Dani will get ‘territorial’ over Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman). From the sounds of it, Dani will have another one of her infamous meltdowns.

The BTG preview for this week suggests that Dani will catch Andre on a date with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) at the local bar and have a freak out.

The interesting thing about all this is that Dani didn’t want to be seen in public with Andre, and she finally succumbed to his encouragement recently.

In fact, she even told her Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) about her new relationship, and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) knows, too.

For Andre to push about having a public romance, and then to turn around and take Ashley out on a date, will infuriate Dani to no end. Is this the end of DAndre as fans know it?
