‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 9: Jack’s Ultimatum, Nick & Sharon Team Up

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Wednesday, July 9, 2025! Fans can expect Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to issue an ultimatum to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) team up to help Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera. (Make sure to check out our next week Y&R spoilers, here!)

Nick Newman’s Intel

Let’s begin with Nick, who is worried about Phyllis’ trust in Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). However, with no job and no one really needing Red, she is grasping at straws.

On the other hand, if Phyllis gets some help, then she could end up being a hero to the power players in Genoa City.

Nick knows that Phyllis always goes too far, though. No matter how concerned Nick is, he knows Phyllis will go ahead and do what she wants.

Sharon Newman’s Discovery

That leads to Nick confiding in Sharon about Phyllis and Cane. It is teased that SHICK will team up to help Phyllis. At one time, Phyllis was able to really see how Sharon thinks.

In fact, they had to work together to survive their double kidnapping ordeal. So, while things might be a bit weird between the two women, they could find that they make a remarkable team.

Billy Abbott’s Roadblock

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the next episode reveal that Billy hits an obstacle. Jack ends up learning that Billy’s new venture isn’t a path forward, but a way to get revenge.

Jack warned him when he agreed to fund Abbott Communications. So, Jack will end up issuing Billy an ultimatum.

Jack Abbott’s Ultimatum

That will lead to Jack giving Billy an ultimatum. However, Billy is so bitter and has gone so far in this plan already, I’m not sure if he will give it up. I could see a fierce feud developing between Jack and Billy.

There will also be Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who interrupts the argument between Billy and Jack. Sally will try to do damage control the best she can.

However, Billy got her on his side by agreeing to hand the company over to her. It’s signed and sealed, so it will be interesting how Sally handles this situation.

We might also see how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) handle their grief over Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).
