Hallmark’s Mistletoe Murders, Season 2, Officially Has A New Home

Hallmark’s Mistletoe Murders, Season 2, Officially Has A New HomeHallmark+’s Mistletoe Murders is moving! The Christmas-themed mystery series starring Rookie Blue’s Peter Mooney and Grey’s Anatomy’s Sarah Drew was once exclusively on the streaming platform for Season one.

With that said, they are heading to the mothership during the 2025 Countdown to Christmas programming block and will air on Hallmark Channel.

Where, What, When?

Season 1 of the Mistletoe Murders will start to air during Hallmark’s much-celebrated ‘Countdown to Christmas’, and it will then be followed by the debut of Season 2 on the channel.

It’s important to note that the show will still be on Hallmark+ the next day; however, they won’t ‘solely’ be on Hallmark’s streaming platform.

The Mistletoe Murders are based on the audio series of the same title and follow Emily Lane (Sarah Drew), who is an extremely friendly and very upbeat shop owner of a darling Christmas store that is open all year round.

The shop is called ‘Under the Mistletoe’. Still, Emily’s inner voice during the series showcases a sarcastic humor, with incredible intellect, and an attention to detail that not many have.

Plus, the main character has a massive secret. The series takes place in the touristy town called Fletcher’s Grove, and Ms. Lane often finds herself wanting (and needing) to look into local murders that unravel.

Of course, as Emily begins these ‘investigations’, local cop, Detective Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney), is by her side.

The police officer has a crush on Emily but also wonders if there’s more to this town heroine than meets the eye. Spoiler alert … there is!

I really love this show! Super excited to see the premiere. However, the author of this article made a slight error. Sam’s daughter’s name is not Jean Yoon; it is Violet Wilner. Jean Yoon is the actress who plays Sue, the owner of Sue’s Diner. Hope this helps!
