Since 1987, Alison has portrayed Sami Brady on the NBC Peacock soap and continues to make guest appearances when she isn’t working on a Hallmark film. The couple is proud parents to their son Ben and daughter Megan.

Alison Surprised Her Fans With Her Marriage

In July 2000, the Hallmark actress surprised and delighted her fans by marrying her boyfriend, Dave Sanov. They had been friends since childhood, as their parents were close, but after he went to college and she began her acting career on Days of Our Lives, they lost touch.

However, they reconnected as adults. Additionally, Alison and Dave grew their family with the birth of their son Ben in 2005 and their daughter Megan in 2009.

Now, 25 years after their wedding, the couple remains as joyful as ever, and Alison marked their anniversary with a touching update.

On July 8, Alison posted a rare selfie of herself and Dave on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message about how they marked this significant occasion in their relationship.

“We enjoyed a lovely dinner reminiscing and joking that we haven’t changed a bit; Lol..” Since Alison typically doesn’t showcase her moments with Dave online, this post excited fans who were eager to join in celebrating the couple’s romantic milestone.
