‘General Hospital’ Spoiler Preview July 23: Lucas’ Rescue, Turner & Sidwell Connect, Portia Disturbed

General Hospital spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Fans can expect Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to try to rescue Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). Justine Turner (Nanzeen Contractor) connects with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Plus, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is disturbed by Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) justification. Keep reading and let’s discuss what’s coming up in the ABC soap opera.

Carly Spencer’s Shock

Let’s start off with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who has a chat with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Now that the right-hand man is back in Port Charles, he will want to talk to someone he trusts. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

That person is Carly, who is stunned that Jason believes he saw someone who looked like Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

When Jason drops the bombshell, Carly will ask where she was seen. That’s when Jason will explain he saw her at the airport and tried to chase her down but failed.

Carly knows that anyone can come back from the dead. Jason did and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) did as well. So, Carly might urge Jason to look for answers.

Drew Cain’s Discovery

Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she faces off with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Now, what is interesting is the look on Drew’s face when Nina tells him someone targeted Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Sasha Gilmore Corinthos’ (Sofia Mattsson) baby. The look on Drew’s face is sheer shock.

Willow Tait’s Justification

Over at the hospital, Willow and Portia will continue their discussion. Portia threw the wedding invitation in the trash and told Willow about Drew blackmailing her.

While that information did stun Willow, she will defend her almost-husband. Willow will tell Portia that Michael didn’t fight fair, so why should she?

This statement could have Portia really wondering about Willow’s mental health. Willow has always been a really moral person with a lot of empathy. This isn’t Willow at all. It could also have Portia reconsidering her plan to confess.

Justine Turner & Jenz Sidwell Connect

General Hospital spoilers reveal that the preview clip for Wednesday, July 23 also shows Justine connecting with Sidwell. The district attorney will ask Sidwell if he truly believes Marco is in danger.

Of course, Justine doesn’t care about saving Marco, she just wants ammo against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). At the same time, Sidwell needs to be careful that he doesn’t incriminate himself in the process.

In any case, Sonny was already warned, so Marco is probably moved or released by now.

Speaking of Marco, Lucas bangs on a door, yelling for Marco. However, there is no response. So, that’s another reason I think Sonny already had Marco relocated.

Meanwhile, Sonny tells Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that this is a discussion they do NOT want to have. Sounds like Dante could have more friction with his father!
