People are keeping busy while they remain under stay-at-home orders. Everyone is coping with all this free time in different ways. DOOL alum Peter Reckell and Moneymaker decided to do something special for fans and social media followers, which is by creating Permanent Resident.

DOOL Spoilers –  Actor’s Exit

Reckell previously played Bo Brady on the NBC soap. He was a fan-favorite and the actor came back for one last stint in order to give viewers closure. It was an emotional storyline, even though it was brief.

Bo saved Hope from Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) during a wedding nightmare. Then the Brady family bonded as Bo was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He died in Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) arms.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Permanent Resident

Permanent Resident focuses on a man named Jack Wilson (Reckell). While he is under quarantine, he is tormented by an unwanted visitor in his own home. The home movie is only three minutes, but fans are loving it. The project was part of a guerrilla filmmaking competition in New Zealand, 48 Hours. The goal is for filmmakers to use just one weekend to create a project.

Moneymaker shared the film on Twitter and explained it was created in exactly 48 hours. People are loving it and some even asked for more. One wrote on the social networking site that they wanted to know what happens next. Others commented about their own “unwanted guests” and infuriating neighbors.

We have to admit, the couple did an amazing job in such a short time frame. It was also great seeing Reckell in something new, even if it was just for three minutes. He certainly hasn’t lost his acting touch, that’s for sure. Reckell and Moneymaker’s daughter also appears in the short film.
