Netflix Just Threw Meghan Markle Under The Bus

Now this might be the real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lost their multi-million dollar contract with Netflix.

That’s because there’s a new report that says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made no moves to adapt Meet Me by the Lake in two years.

In other words, Meghan Markle was too slow moving for the online streamer and that’s why they decided to dump her before they wanted to take the chance to bleed even more money.

Apparently, Netflix had to pay about $3 million for the rights to the book but unfortunately Meghan and her Archewell Productions made no move to pick out a director or the cast for the movie.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “By this point, you would have thought they would have got a director on board and a cast. So what is the delay?’

“And when you make something for Netflix, it takes a long time for it to actually hit the streamer — there is so much to do in post production, to make sure it’s ready for every country. If the deal is up this year, then when is this film going to be made?”

If that weren’t enough, Netflix is also upset that no move was made for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s documentary on Africa, so that might end up being on the backburner as well.

Meghan Markle Was too Difficult To Work With

The insider added, “What’s the betting that neither of these projects will see the light of day?”

Yikes. So this means that Meghan Markle might have been too slow when it came to getting the ball rolling. That, or she could have been difficult to work with, especially when it came to making tough decisions. Or it could be a combination of both, right? That’s what a lot of her critics want to believe.

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
