Cane Ashby’s Horror

Let’s start off with Carter, who will get confronted by Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Carter will admit that he killed Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) but did it all for Aristotle Dumas.

Of course, the tycoon will try to keep his cool while prying the details from Carter. When Cane finally loses his temper, Carter realizes that he’s been tricked.

Lily Winters’ Hostage Situation

From a nearby hedge, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Chance are listening to Carter’s confession.

When Chance goes to deal with Carter, the assistant realizes his number is up. Carter pulls out a gun and takes Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) hostage!

Chance Chancellor’s Death

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 28 reveal that Chance’s heroism will take a tragic turn.

Fans already knew that Conner Floyd was leaving Y&R to play Billy Flynn’s former character on Days of Our Lives, Chad DiMera. The only question was how Chance would exit.

Back to the storyline, Cane will try to offer himself as a hostage. Once Lily is let go, Carter points the gun at his boss. That is when Chance leaps to the rescue, but he ends up dying from a gunshot wound.

Carter’s Suicide

Fans can also expect Monday’s episode to explain what happens to Carter. Knowing prison is in his future, Carter “opts out.”

Sally Spectra’s Bombshell

Over with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she returns to the train with a bombshell.

Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is horrified to hear everything that’s happened. Jack will also see all the blood on his loved ones’ hands.

Billy Abbott’s Future

As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Chance’s death could make him even more thirsty for revenge. The best thing would be for Cane to stay in Italy and leave everyone alone. Instead, he will tell Lily that he plans on coming back to Genoa City.

So, is it even possible for Cane to get redemption? That is three people who would still be alive if he hadn’t been playing games.
