The Chrisleys: Back to Reality by Lifetime dropped a trailer and a premiere date for the new docuseries, and it immediately sparked a flood of condemnation because of Lindsie Chrisley. Read on to find out more. 

Lindsie Was Mentioned In  The Trailer

When the docuseries trailer aired a few days ago on YouTube, there was very little backlash in the comments. Most people welcomed the idea of seeing Todd and Julie Chrisley back on TV after their pardon by Donald Trump. However, it was a different story on Instagram when E! News shared about the bits regarding Lindsie and her involvement with the FBI.

The outlet picked up on the fact the trailer showed quite a lot of news media screenshots about Lindsie Chrisley and her cooperation with the feds. It did show that, and it showed Savannah Chrisley crying because she wondered if they’d ever be able to fix the family dynamic.

Grayson seemed bitter, and Chase seemed broken. It’s no secret that Todd and Lindsie clashed, and Savannah outed her half-sister for being a sellout. In fact, since their release from prison, Lindsie changed her name on social media from Chrisley to Landsman, the surname of her current beau.

The Backlash

In their caption, the outlet wrote:

Across social media, particularly on YouTube, many people slam Lindsie and profess their love for the rest of Todd Chrisley’s family, especially Nanny Faye. However, there is a sector of non-fans who support Lindsie and dislike the rest of the Chrisley Knows Best alums. And they turned out in force in the comments section of the post.

One critic wrote, “Honestly, I’d ditch the last name if I were Lindsey. No association whatsoever.”
